In every country there are stores and local companies that can be set in "Little Treasures" category. Mainly known on local market, some of them can definitely "compete" with designer's stores. One of these "treasures" that you can find in Greece is HEEL (http://www.heelshop.gr). Their clothes & accessories are so interesting and innovative that could stand on a catwalk successfully beside well known brands. If you want to dress different and stand out from the crowd, you should absolutely take a look at HEEL online store, especially that they have these online sales (sometimes even 50% less) which I wouldn't "fast forward". Dresses with huge appliqued flowers, skirts with funny foxes and little chickens as bags will all make you fall in love with this brand. You can even find clothes for our "little treasures" - our kids. And another hint that I found quite interesting: if you are from Greece and you go to one of their store by bicycle or with your pet you could have 15% discount. Funny isn't it?:)

The Hunger Games
I was always quite reluctant about putting a book in big screen. Maybe cause it was this thing that everybody said "the book is far better", "the movie changed the book"... I was thinking what exactly is bothering me with a book that then becomes a movie: it's THE IMAGINATION. When we read a book we are free to imagine each character, each scene in our own way and when we see THAT character or THAT scene on a screen and most likely has a totally different "form" that what we imagine, the result is... "the book is better". But what about a movie that is better than what we imagined when reading the book? I hope that THE HUNGER GAMES is one of that movies. Costumes are perfect, Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen looks awesome (I remember her from Winter's Bone) and the plot, ok, we know it from the book. I saw the trailer and I must confess that it really got me "into".
I can't wait to see the full movie!

Don't need to be expensive
I have this idea: in order to be stylish and follow each season's trends we don't have to spend all our allowance. A good bargain is always a good bargain and we can keep with the fashion without spending a huge amount of money.
Novelty is what the new season is all about and Mickey is one of the heroes that will be heard a lot this summer. Zara has it with only 25,95 Euro. Combine it with a synthetic leather short (Pull & Bear) for 22,99 Euro, a pair of wedges on sale (online bargain from www.modekungen.se) for only 39.19 Euro and a trendy clutch from Zara (49, 95 Euro) and you'll be as trendy as it gets. For a more girly look don't forget the flower headband for 12,00 Euro (www.modcloth.com) - it will add that "something" that make an outfit special. Let the summer come!:)

Invisible Children - Kony2012
I started this blog for two
reasons: first my love for design & fashion and second the exciting part of
creating, posting and attracting other people with the same interests with me.
In the beginning I was thinking to start clearly a fashion blog, but as much as I
think as much I feel that I've started a "trip" that will take me to
deeper meanings and maybe discover & learn myself better. I am grateful to
all those who supported me and convinced me to start this blog and I feel
blessed to have all these people in my life.
As per the video
above, I think is the perfect post to start my blog. Its topic it's not about fashion,
nor design, not at all related to what my blog aspires to become, but it's
about the need of having around you persons that love you and stand by you
when you need them. It's about the way I understand social media & blogs: a way to link and connect to each other.
I hope you'll enjoy my blog and I do my best to achieve it.
